Level Ground Trading

Level Ground Trading is a coffee company that is striving to change coffee culture. They are Fair Trade, connecting directly with their small-scale producers in Ethiopia, Colombia, Peru and beyond. The company is unapologetic in their approach and are transparent about who is growing, harvesting and shipping their coffee beans. In 1997, they began connecting with small-scale farms in Colombia and have slowly worked on expanding; now, they’re a team of over 25 people who work in sales, accounting, production and the tasting room.

Their tasting room isn't just any other tasting room: it has a "fast bar" and a "slow bar." The fast bar is for your in-and-out caffeine hit, whereas the slow bar is about the experience of coffee drinking. The latter offers coffee flights and various brew methods to choose from in a welcoming cafe that encourages you to stay awhile. All your coffee desires are covered, from their “Dark & Strong” to “Light & Juicy.” And if you find yourself a little peckish while you're sipping, they've also got you covered there, as Rock Coast Confections supplies the tasting room with treats that pair well with coffee.
