The family root cellar used to be a place where you could always find good quality, garden-grown, fresh and preserved foods. The Root Cellar operates with a local focus always buying from as close to home as possible to provide the communities of Victoria with the same.

The Root Cellar has grown since 2008 and now brings you a complete "farm fresh, dirt cheap" shopping experience. Offering the largest selection of produce on the Island, locally prepared foods, locally sourced and ethically raised meats from their in house butcher, a full service deli, an extensive floral department and full scale garden market. Their newest addition is The Coffee Project: an in house coffee bar that roasts Discovery Coffee and brews JagaSilk and Silk Road teas.
