From freedive harvesting to wilderness first-aid training, and from seaweeds of the West Coast to cedar weaving, the courses are endless. In a place as stunning as Tofino, it’s easy to highlight the outdoors and location-based learning. The courses are experiential and have a heavy focus on community. They partner with over 30 organizations, businesses and individuals from Hesquiaht to Ucluelet. All participants are encouraged to lean into their curiosity to absorb as much knowledge from the land and instructors as possible. The courses run year-round, and there are options for all ages to learn about this pocket of earth and sea we reside on.
