Crazy Prospector

This is autumn on autumn on autumn—spicy rye mixed with Ampersand’s Green Walnut Nocino, the richness of the newly released Esquimalt Rosso Vermouth (a new venture from the folks at Rootside Provisions), and a splash of coffee bitters from Bittered Sling. A perfectly rich, autumn take on a Manhattan.

Cocktail
  • 1 oz Odd Society Prospector Rye Whisky
  • 1/4 oz Ampersand Distilling Co. Nocino Liqueur
  • 3/4 oz Esquimalt Wine Company Rosso Vermouth
  • Dash Bittered Sling Arabica Coffee Bitters

Preparation

        Pour ingredients over ice in a cocktail shaker and stir gently.
        Strain into small cocktail glass.
        Garnish with lemon or orange twist and a Luxardo cherry.
