Founders and owners John Grayson and Joan Costello take great care of their 20-year old orchard in order to handcraft their wine on-site. Hornby Island Estate Winery is especially well-known for it's  "traditional" variety of sulfite-free sparkling wines that are created with the winery's proprietary fine bubble technology. These bubbly beverages comes in tasty flavours like blueberry, cranberry and raspberry.
