From humble beginnings on the prairies of Saskatchewan comes Danielle Arsenault, a certified raw food chef, educator, cookbook author, nutrition and lifestyle coach, outdoors enthusiast, and founder of The Raw Food Chef Alliance and Pachavega Living Foods Education, founded in 2013. Despite the many hats Danielle wears, she simply refers to herself as a curious creative and lover of all things. She earned her Advanced Raw Food Chef and Educator Certificate though the Raw Foundation Culinary Arts Institute in Vancouver, BC, and the Anne Wigmore Institute in Puerto Rico and has a Bachelor of Education Degree from the Master of Teaching Program through the University of Calgary.
In 2017, Danielle was named one of Canada's Top Vegan Influencers by Impact Magazine. She has been a guest on over 30 podcasts and contributed delicious recipes to various magazines and online health blogs, including Vogue Girl and Impact Magazine. Through Pachavega , Danielle specializes in plant based nutrition certification courses, hosts holistic wellness retreats and vegan culinary chef trainings around the world. She has taught 25 courses and graduated over 150 students. In addition to her work at Pachavega she offers individual plant based nutrition coaching, as well as designs and upgrades plant based menus. She is also the co-founder of Wanderlust Utopia, a conscious, sustainable, socially responsible, eco modern health and wellness retreat center on Ometepe Island, Nicaragua where she resides half the year with her husband, Cris and their beautiful daughter, Indira.
