Emma Yardley

Emma Yardley is a freelance journalist who was born and raised on Salt Spring Island. After seven years working as a lifestyle editor in Toronto's busiest newsrooms, she's returned to the island to focus on writing and renovating her tiny seaside cottage with her patient city-born husband, whippet-cross and angry siamese cat. Unusual adventures, unforgettable meals and anything to do with water—be it at the spa or on a sailboat—are her jam.
