Saltspring Harvest and the végé-pâté product line was born in 2016 from Zoe Currelly’s desire to create a food company that would facilitate cooking with a socially conscious vision. Currelly grew up in a family of gardeners, bush pilots, guides and artists, and she learned to be responsible and independent with food and its curation.

Saltspring Harvest's végé-pâté products are made by hand with organic ingredients in a gluten-free kitchen. They have a base made of sunflower seeds and root vegetables, giving them a unique texture that makes them perfect for a variety of uses, such as enhancing a salad, spreading on a sandwhich or showcasing on a charcuterie board. They are high in protein and preservative free and also don't contain any dairy, eggs, wheat, soy or nuts, making them an excellent choice for those with food sensitivities and those who eat a plant-based diet.
