Linda Barnard proudly comes from a family of passionate foodies. An award-winning film and travel journalist and former Toronto Star staff movie writer, she believes the table is the best way to get to know places and people. Her travels have led to stories - and memorable food - all over the world. Her freelance work has appeared in national and international magazines, newspapers and websites, along with Edible Toronto and Edible Vancouver Island. She lives in Victoria and is busy eating her way around Vancouver Island.
