Lucas Aykroyd 

Lucas Aykroyd is an award-winning travel writer and public speaker. His work has appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, National Geographic, the Globe and Mail, and Delta Sky. Recently, he’s covered everything from the Brussels beer scene to the Winter Olympics in South Korea. Lucas, who received the University of Victoria’s Distinguished Alumni Award, grew up on Vancouver Island and is currently based in Vancouver. In 2017, he founded the Irene Adler Prize, a $1,000 scholarship for women writers.
