Pinene Pesto Pasta

Not your ordinary pesto: jazz up your dinner party with this cannabis version.

Instructions

½ cup extra-virgin olive oil 
2 Tbsp pinene cannabis oil 
½ cup pumpkin seeds
2 large bunches fresh basil 
6 cloves garlic 
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for garnish 
500g fusilli pasta 

Place all the ingredients, except the pasta, into a blender or food processor and blend into a smooth paste. 

Cook fusilli according to package directions. Strain and return to the pot. Toss with half the pesto and divide between four serving plates. Garnish with extra Parmesan cheese.
