1½ oz Wayward Drunken Hive Rum
1 oz Wayward Krupnik
½ oz Legend Distilling’s Manitou Orange + Sumac Liqueur
1 oz fresh lime juice
½ oz spicy honey/ginger syrup*
3 dashes Rootside Root Beer Bitters
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker and fill with ice. Shake for approximately 10–12 seconds and then strain into a tiki mug or tall glass with crushed ice.
*Spicy honey/ginger syrup recipe by Jeffrey Morgenthaler: Stir equal parts (by weight) of honey, roughly chopped ginger (no need to peel) and boiling water in a pot on the stove, then blend very fine and strain with a fine mesh strainer.
