Rick Janzen

Rick Janzen taught elementary and middle school for twenty-two years on the Island. He then went on to tutor remedial students for another four years. While tutoring, Rick took a part-time job teaching skiing at Mount Washington. He is also currently a self-employed fishing guide on the Tyee Pool in Campbell River. Rick is married to his wonderful wife, Judy. They have two married children: their son Jesse and daughter Erin. They also have four active and energetic granddaughters, some of whom are beginning to show interest in the bees. Rick is a UBC certified Master Beekeeper.
