Dawn is one of the founders of Edible Vancouver Island and co-author of Island Eats: Signature Chefs' Recipes from Vancouver Island and the Salish Sea. She is a writer, restaurateur and business consultant who has always been passionate about food, cooking, and culinary adventures. Her goal is to share her love of Vancouver Island and to promote the food and drink culture of the region.
Dawn is involved with several events and festivals each year, works closely with the North Vancouver Island Chef’s association, and supports food related businesses through consulting and digital marketing strategy. She is Mom to 5 "mostly grown-up” children, and loves spending time outdoors when she isn’t playing in her kitchen or sipping wine with friends!
