Honey, Spice & Everything Nice

This is the perfect winter cocktail, served warm or cold. It features Merridale Cidery & Distillery’s award-winning Cowichan Spiced Rhumb (made from B.C. honey) and Cyser Cider (made from Cowichan cider apples and honey), which are beautifully complemented by their Ginger Simple Syrup.

Instructions

Ingredients: 

1 oz Cowichan Spiced Rhumb
4 oz Merridale Cyser cider 
¼ oz Merridale Makes Ginger Simple Syrup
2 oz hot water
a couple of dashes of AngosturaⓇ bitters

Method:

In your favourite coffee mug, blend and stir all ingredients together. Then warm gently in the microwave, taking care not to overheat or boil. Garnish with a lemon slice and cinnamon stick.

To prepare cold, substitute hot water for 2oz of sparkling water and serve in a highball glass.
