The Island Toddy

The Hot Toddy; known around the world and across the ages by many names. In true Vancouver Island style we like to do things a little differently, so here's a blend of honey, tea and local spirits that's sure to warm your soul during any west coast winter storm.

Ingredients

Island Toddy
  • 1 oz Shelter Point Single Malt Whisky
  • 1 oz Wayward Distillation House Krupnik Liqueur
  • 1 oz Silk Road London Fog Honey Syrup
  • 4 oz Hot Water
Silk Road London Fog Honey Syrup
  • 1 cup Brewed London Fog (or Earl Grey) Tea - Heavy Steep, 12 minutes
  • 1 cup Honey
  • 3 pinches Sea Salt

Preparation

Brew tea, add the equal amount of honey and stir until dissolved. Syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one month.

Combine all ingredients in your favourite mug to sip by the fire.
